Trash that is too large to fit in your City issued trash bin is considered bulk waste. Pick-ups for bulk waste must be scheduled in advance as they require a specialized collection. Please do not leave them curbside with your trash bin on your regular collection day - they will not be collected and you may face a fine!
To schedule a bulk waste pick-up, visit hyattsville.org/requests, use the MyHyattsville app, or call (301) 985-5032 between 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.
Not all bulk waste items can be collected. Materials like construction debris, hazardous waste, and tree stumps or logs are not accepted. Find more instructions, as well as a list of accepted items for collection at hyattsville.org/bulkwaste.
