Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Department

The Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Department (HVFD) would like to submit a request for increased funds to the Fire Department Grant Budget.

Increased funding would be utilized for operational costs which have significantly increased over the past several years due to inflation. This increase would support increased cost of apparatus replacement and other associated costs that have been seen recently due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This proposal would allow the HVFD to ensure that all current services provided to the community are maintained.
