The Hyattsville Reporter is a monthly newsletter published by the City of Hyattsville and mailed to all City residences the first week of the month. The City uses the Reporter to share important City notices, upcoming events, and available resources. The content is published in both English and Spanish.

Based on responses to the survey, we learned the community was looking for:
- An easy to read calendar of events
- Separate sections with programs and services for youth and older adults, so readers can quickly find the content most appropriate for them
- Highlighted sections to call out important news or programs, volunteer opportunities, requests for resident input, or feature City staff and volunteers
- Color and photos!
With that in mind, City Communications staff worked over the fall of 2023 with a local designer to redesign the Reporter layout.
Expect the first edition of the new Reporter in homes this January!
