Submit Ideas for Street Art!
The City of Hyattsville Department of Public Works is seeking your input on asphalt art that will be integrated into the new traffic calming features on Nicholson Street to help slow down cars and emphasize where pedestrians have the right of way. Hyattsville is working with Baltimore-based creative agency Graham Projects to design the art with your input!
Pavement art will be integrated into the traffic calming installations at two locations:
- Nicholson Street and 31st Avenue
- 3000 block of Nicholson Street, across from Heurich Park
Use the online drawing tool to share your ideas for pavement art. Using everyone’s drawings, ideas, and images as inspiration, Graham Projects public artists will develop asphalt art design options for you and other residents to vote on your preferred choice. The deadline for sharing your drawings is May 6, 2024.
Thank you for your ideas! Submissions are now closed.
