Jefferson Street Bike Boulevard Survey

In 2022, the City of Hyattsville contracted with Toole Design Group to add traffic calming devices along Jefferson Street between Route 1 and Queens Chapel Road. These devices are intended to slow and direct traffic so this connector can be used as a bicycle boulevard, where the safety of bicycles, pedestrians, and other forms of micromobility (scooters, e-bikes, etc.) are prioritized.

The installations are intentionally temporary so they can be evaluated for effectiveness, safety, and comfort before being made permanent.

We need your input to make sure the designs are working as intended!

Community members who regularly use this route are encouraged to complete the survey below by June 1.
