Jamestown Road Traffic Calming

The Jamestown Road project aims to create a neighborhood green street that will improve pedestrian and cyclist safety and reduce localized flooding.

The City is working with Pennoni to analyze technical studies and community input. The final plan will identify practical short- and long-term solutions to calm traffic and enhance stormwater management.

Community members met with Ward 4 Councilmembers and staff from the Department of Public Works for a project update on June 20, 2026. Participants viewed project boards of proposed interventions and took walking tours of the areas under consideration.
