Every year Hyattsville's City Administrator works with City Council and staff to establish the City's budget. The budget outlines anticipated revenues and expenditures for the fiscal year, running from July 1 - June 30.

Share your budget priorities with City Council!
City Councilmembers propose budget priorities in January/February of each year. This year, Councilmembers will submit their budget priorities for consideration by January 31, 2023.
You can connect with your Councilmembers to share your ideas by:
- Sending an e-mail. Find contact information for your Councilmember. (Not sure which Ward you live in? Enter your address in our City verification map!)
- Attend an upcoming Ward Check-in. Events are listed below and at hyattsville.org/calendar.
- Share your idea here by clicking the "Submit Idea" button in the upper right hand corner of the page! You can also review and comment on ideas submitted below.
- Fill out a paper idea form, available at the City Building, Third Floor Reception Desk, 4310 Gallatin St.
Ideas will be collected on this page until January 27, 2023.
