Driskell Park Intersection
The City is evaluating proposed improvements to the multi-street intersection at the entrance to Driskell Park for safer use by pedestrians, cyclists, vehicles, and bus transit. The proposed improvements prioritize the most vulnerable road users while maintaining efficient traffic flow.
This 5-leg intersection is comprised of:
- Hamilton Street (west)
- 40th Avenue (north)
- The David C. Driskell Community Park entrance (south)
- Hamilton Street and Gallatin Street (east)

A few alternative solutions were shared with community members at a public meeting on March 7, 2024, along with the benefits and setbacks of each option.
