Traffic Calming Petition
Residents in the 4900 block of 41st Place submitted a petition in March 2022 to evaluate the block for installation of traffic calming devices.

The petition was received by City Clerk’s Office, who validated the petition met the 60% signature requirement per City Code Section 114-8 (B). The petition was submitted to the Department of Public Works for evaluation.
Public Hearing
City Council scheduled a Public Hearing for May 16, 2022 to hear public testimony regarding this petition. A notification of the hearing was mailed to residents of 41st Place and the surrounding streets.
During the Hearing City staff presented an overview of the conditions in the petitioned area. Public testimony was received from seven (7) residents. Read the meeting minutes.
