What can I do about speeding on my street?

Residents concerned about road safety on their block can request the City assess the street for potential traffic calming measures by using a Traffic Calming Petition. Instructions for submitting the petition and a list of streets already under consideration for traffic calming interventions are available at hyattsville.org/streets.

The City is in the process of installing automated stop sign cameras at high-risk intersections across the City. Learn more about the stop sign camera program on our Police web pages.
