Reopen the park
From "King Park Renovation"

The plans are fine, but not worth keeping the park closed for a whole year to implement them. It's a great little park as-is; the only issue is that a private venture has essentially annexed it for its own use and has run it into the ground. That is what needs to be addressed.

Hello, there has been ongoing environmental and survey work in the park during this period. This included tree repair and root aeration, stormwater abatement measures to protect the homes behind the park from water flow, and ground penetrating radar and surveying to prepare for demolition and construction. The park needs to remain closed to allow the ground markings and temporary stormwater protections to remain in place. Demolition of the current playground equipment is expected to begin soon.

Could not agree more. But that is unlikely to be addressed.
