Nicholson Street Traffic Calming Project

I drive, bike, and walk Nicholson regularly. This part of Nicholson is often narrowed to one travel lane due to the number of cars parked on the street, which provides the same effect as the proposed curb extentions. Parking is already tight in this neighborhood – have you considered the impact of removing several parking spaces? Nearby smaller streets are already close to capacity.

I fully support removing the old pavement markings and adding new crosswalks and stop bars.

Are you doing any on-site engagement with the community? Particuarly the apartment complex across Nicholson from Heurich Park as well as the apartment building on 31st and Nicholson (Madison Park)?
